Bug fixing: pause functionalities
Another quick fixing, which leads us to version 1.3. As I consider it a faithful debugged version of the original Game Jam version, I will let it available side by side with the crude original.
The good news is that the main framework for the game is now (hopefully) working, and extensions should be way easier for me to implement.
The next obvious step would be to add way more levels; I am also thinking adding creature types (as you can see in the current in-game instructions, sharks and jellyfish were cancelled from 1.0, but they will surely make a come-back with a vengeance).
Log:
* Fixed relaunching a level from pause mode and going back to the menu from pause mode. (By the way, fixed reset of pause and tutorial modes at the beginning of the levels, which would otherwise still run now.)
* Fixed new version number for automatic saving (an oversight on my part, sorry! Have to think about it for every version, I do not see how this could be automated).
* Fixed reset of which submenu is running when quitting game mode (otherwise, you would be sent back to the level selection screen instead of the proper main menu).
* As a small bonus, attached directory ‘Debogage’ which contains the visuals for AI arrows, in case some curious people would like to see them in-game (you have to activate some debug options in module ‘debogage’). Those from Gamecodeur should recognize the technique described by David Mekersa. (As this is a debugging feature, the screen capture shows you my Sublime Text in all its blue glory. ;))
Transferring the current postscriptum (from the main game page) below for reference.

Notes
PS: I had deactivated the commands from the pause menu (for retrying and going back to the menu), as they caused a crash. Sorry for the inconvenience, I will look into it.
